All Pet Cards FAQ

Everything you need to know about pet financing, credit limits, and how the All Pet Card works.

💳 About the Card

What is the All Pet Card?+
The All Pet Card is a dedicated pet financing credit card issued by Comenity Capital Bank. It offers 0% interest promotional financing for 6 to 12 months on qualifying purchases at participating pet care providers across the United States. There is no annual fee. It is designed exclusively for pet owners to help cover the costs of veterinary care, grooming, boarding, training, and other pet-related expenses.
Is All Pet Cards the same as All Pet Card?+
Yes. "All Pet Cards" and "All Pet Card" refer to the same product. The card is officially called the All Pet Card and is issued by Comenity Capital Bank. AllPetCards.com is an informational resource where you can learn about the card and apply for it.
Who issues the All Pet Card?+
The All Pet Card is issued by Comenity Capital Bank, a Utah-chartered FDIC-insured bank and subsidiary of Bread Financial (formerly Alliance Data Systems). They have decades of experience issuing co-branded and private-label credit cards for specialty programs across the USA. Your account is fully FDIC insured.
Is there an annual fee?+
No. The All Pet Card has absolutely no annual fee, no monthly maintenance fee, and no activation fee. You can keep the card in your wallet for when you need it at zero ongoing cost.

📋 Applying & Eligibility

Does applying affect my credit score?+
Pre-qualifying uses only a soft credit inquiry which has no impact on your credit score whatsoever. A hard credit inquiry is only made when you formally submit the full application and accept the card terms. This is the same process used by most reputable credit card issuers.
What credit score do I need?+
There is no publicly stated minimum credit score requirement for the All Pet Card. Comenity Capital Bank evaluates applicants across a range of credit profiles. Many pet owners with fair credit scores of 580 or higher have been approved. The best way to find out if you qualify is to pre-qualify — it takes 60 seconds and won't affect your score.
What are the basic requirements to apply?+
To apply for the All Pet Card you must be: (1) a legal resident of the United States, (2) at least 18 years of age, (3) have a valid Social Security Number for identity verification, and (4) have a valid US mailing address and email address.
How much can I borrow?+
Credit limits are assigned based on your creditworthiness at the time of application. Starting limits begin at $200, with average approved limits falling between $1,500 and $3,000. Limits can go up to $10,000 for well-qualified applicants. You'll see your exact limit before accepting the card.
Is the All Pet Card available in my state?+
Yes. The All Pet Card is available to eligible residents in all 50 US states including California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, and all others.

💰 Financing & Payments

How does the 0% interest work?+
The All Pet Card offers deferred interest promotional financing. If you pay the full purchase balance before the 6-month or 12-month promotional period ends, you pay zero interest. Minimum monthly payments are required throughout the promotional period. If a remaining balance exists at the end of the promo period, interest is charged retroactively from the original purchase date at the standard APR.
What happens if I don't pay off my balance before the promo period ends?+
This is very important to understand: the All Pet Card uses deferred interest financing. If you do not pay the full promotional balance by the end of the promotional period, interest will be charged to your account from the original purchase date at the standard APR. To avoid this, always aim to pay the full balance before the promotional period expires, or set up autopay for the full balance amount.
Is there a late payment fee?+
Yes. Like all credit cards, late payment fees may apply if you miss your minimum monthly payment due date. Always pay at least the minimum payment by the due date to avoid fees. Setting up autopay is strongly recommended to ensure you never miss a payment.
Can I pay my bill online?+
Yes. All Pet Card accounts are managed through Comenity Capital Bank's secure online portal and mobile app. You can view your balance, review statements, make payments, set up autopay, and monitor your credit limit all in one convenient place.

🆚 Comparisons

How is All Pet Card different from CareCredit?+
Unlike CareCredit, which covers both human and pet healthcare expenses, the All Pet Card is 100% focused on pet care. This means it also covers grooming, boarding, and training services that CareCredit does not. Many pet owners find the All Pet Card application process faster and approval rates more favorable for pet-specific expenses. See our full comparison at compare.html.
How is All Pet Card different from ScratchPay?+
ScratchPay offers installment loans (fixed repayment schedules), while the All Pet Card is a revolving credit card you can reuse over time. ScratchPay does not offer a 0% deferred interest promo period, and it does not cover grooming, boarding, or training. The All Pet Card is reusable and more versatile for ongoing pet care expenses.
